RESPECT. EXPERIENCE. ADMIRATION. SUCCESS. Some of the words associated with superstar DJ Eddie Baez among those in the dance music community throughout the country. Completely devoid of the politics, ego, and attitude which run rampant in this community, Eddie is a genuine, humble music maker, who just happens to have a long and impressive list of credentials that are a tribute to an extraordinary talent. We invite you to now meet club land’s biggest and brightest gem: Eddie Baez.

Eddie laid the foundation for his career through many years as a DJ, as well as stints working for record labels. His big break, however, came when he auditioned successfully for the coveted post of premier resident DJ at NYC’s famous Sound Factory. Beating out over 2,000 other candidates, Eddie was crowned with the post on New Year’s Eve of 1997 by Sound Factory owner Richard Grant. This accolade was a triumphant inauguration to clubland’s most promising star.

Shortly after his debut, Eddie was scouted by club impresario extraordinaire, Peter Gatien. So when Gatien offered him a residency at NYC’s Tunnel and a sub-residency at the legendary Limelight, it was an offer that Eddie simply could not refuse. His residency continued for 2 years, and he now resides at NY’s hottest new club, Exit, at which he plays for a crowd of over 6,000 people every Saturday night. He also has residencies in Miami and Boston, played at the famed Roxy in New York, and the annual White Party in Miami. Eddie is continually in demand at clubs in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Atlanta and has achieved huge cross-over success through his immense popularity at both gay and straight clubs.

Eddie is not just another talented DJ, however. He is also an established and successful songwriter, remixer, and producer. His 4 #1 Billboard hits include Rihanna’ “S&M”, Beyonce “Run The World ”, Black Eyed Peas”, The Time’ “, and Britney Spears “Hold It Against Me”. He has also had dozen of hits charting on Billboard’s Top 10. There are no limits to what this brilliant, unstoppable talent can do, so just anticipate what’s to come.
